Ranveer Singh is an Indian movie actor who made is film debut in 2010 in the movie Band Baaja Baaraat opposite Anushka Sharma. For his role as Bittoo Sharma he won the Apsara Award for Best Debut Male, Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut, Lions Favourite Debutant Actor Male, Lions Favourite Jodi along with Anushka Sharma, Star Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer Male and Zee Cine Award for Best Male Debut.
Ranveer won the Best Male Debut award at the 56th Filmfare Awards.
