Salman Khan Going To USA For Surgery

Salman Khan has been sufferring from Trigeminal Neuralgia (also known as prosopalgia, the Suicide Disease or Fothergill's disease) and Aneurysm for the past seven years. This weekend, Salman Khan will fly to US to get a second medical opinion. His next movie, Bodyguard (2011) is due to release on Eid, August 31, 2011. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor.
Trigeminal Neuralgia (also known as prosopalgia, the Suicide Disease or Fothergill's disease) is a neuropathic disorder characterized by episodes of intense pain in the face, originating from the trigeminal nerve. It has been described as among the most painful conditions known. The pain may be felt in the ear, eye, lips, nose, scalp, forehead, cheeks, teeth, or jaw and side of the face.
IIFA awards 2011

The International Indian Film Academy(IIFA) awards 2011 kicked off today with the arrival of some of India's biggest stars in Toronto, Canada. Indian stars like Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut , Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Bipasha Basu flew in for the award show. The Bachchan family will be yet again absent from the IIFA awards. Last year Mr. Amitabh Bachchan decided to skip the Sri Lankan edition due to the protests from the film industry down south and now the organizer have done away with the post of the brand ambassador, which was held by Mr. Bachchan since the awards inception. Salman Khan will also be absent given he is currently shooting for his upcoming film, Bodyguard (2011) , while Shahrukh Khan will be performing at the IIFA awards after a 5 years gap. Singer Jermaine Jackson, brother of Michael Jackson, is among the international celebrities participating in the three day event.

Salman Khan is currently shooting for his next movie Ready (2011) starring Asin Thottumkal being directed by Anees Bazmee with music from Pritam. The movie is a family drame due to release in June 2011. The director is well known for making movies that he can see with his family and hence they should be entertaining to all.
Sonakshi Sinha To Perform Item Number In Joker

New debuten of 2010, Sonakshi Sinha who won great reviews for her role in Dabangg (2010) opposite Salman Khan will now be doning a item number in the movie Joker (2011) along side the Sheila Ki Jawani girl Katrina Kaif. The rumor has it that Sonakshi and Katrina will dance to a folk fusion number being choreographed by Farah Khan.
