Aishwarya Rai And Sir Ben Kingsley In Film Taj

British actor Sir Ben Kingsley well known for his Oscar winning portrayal of Indian independence hero Mohandas Gandhi, has signed former Miss World and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai to star opposite him in a movie Taj Mahal. Aishwarya will play the role of Queen Mumtaz and Ben Kingsley will play the role of her husband Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the movie titled, Taj (2010) . Kingsley’s wife, Brazilian actress Daniela Lavender will play the role of Persian Princess Kandahari Begum, Shah Jahan’s first wife.

The French government has announced that they will give Aishwarya Rai Bachchan the Officer Dan Ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres (officer of the order of arts and letters), which is the second highest civilian honour given by the French government. But unfortunately, Ash has refused to accept the award at the date and time set by the French government because currently her father's health is not well. The list contains celebriteis from all over the world and they are voted for my the readers of AskMen.com. This year list has many new faces and many that have been on the list in the previous years. Britney Spears made a reappearance on the list at position 90. While Grey's Anatomy Katherine Heigl dropped from number one in 2008 to number 81 for 2009, while Anne Hathaway jumped 58 to no. 5. Eva Mendes won the honors of being number 01, with Megan Fox taking the second stop folloed by Marisa Miller in third. From Bollywood it was first timer Katrina Kaif at number 48 while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ended up at 60th place in 2009, but was no. 27 in 2008.
