Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan have been signed by Mani Ratnam for his next movie, Lajjo . This will mark the first time that Kareena and Aamir have acted together. The film will began shooting in January 2007 and release later in the year. The film is an adaptation of Ismat Chugtai’s book with the same title. Kareena has previously worked with Mani Ratnam in Yuva and is currently shooting for him in Guru .

Ajay Devgan and Kareena Kapoor love scene in Vishal Bharadwaj's Omkara is a much talked about topic. The film is scheduled for release this Friday July 28, 2006. The love scene, which occurs as a part of a montage for the song O sathi re, is about three-four minute long between Ajay and Kareena and has been shot very aesthetically by Bharadwaj. The movie, based on Shakespeare's Othello, the protagonist suffers from an inferiority complex due to the beauty of his lover and hence the director wanted someone who looked beautiful even without makeup, and found Kareena to fit the bill perfectly. Kareen plays Dolly, a Brahmin girl who leaves her family for Ajay, a half-Brahmin and the chieftain of outlaws.

Kareena Kapoor will work for a film under the Karan Johar's banner. Kareena Kapoor and Karan Johar have decided to work together again after working out there personnel differences. The last time the two worked together was on Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum, and now will again be together for a untitle film being directed by Soham, and starring John Abraham .
36 China Town Suspense Priyanka Chopra?

We are not revealing the suspense of 36 China Town , but will let you know that Priyanka Chopra will be making a guest appearance in the movie. The beautiful actress, Priyanka Chopra got great reviews for portraying a negative character in Aitraaz, which was also directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced by Subhash Ghai and then again made a guest appearance in Milan Luthria’s Taxi Number 9211 (2006) . 36 China Town is due to release this week and stars Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor . The movie is a murder mystery(thriller) and hence the producers and director have decided to not hold any private screenings, not even for the film’s actors or distributors.

Director Harry Baweja, whos recent release Teesri Aankh failed at the box office is all ready to launch his son Harman. 2050, is a sci-fi movie in which Kareena Kapoor has already declined to star. Now the word is that Harry is trying to sign Aishwarya Rai in the movie to play opposite his son Harman. Now we will have to wait and see if the news is real or not and see who Harry ends up signing.
