66 die people died when two bombs exploded on a train from India to Pakistan.
The explosion happened on Sunday near a rural area in northern India. The train is
known as Samjhauta (Friendship) Express left Delhi railway station on Sunday night,
after about an hour enroute the bomb exloded.

Reliance Retail Limited has launched Reliance Fresh, its fresh food outlets,
stepping into the into retail business. The first retail stores will open in Hyderabad on Nov 3, 2006.
The first retail outlet was opened to media in Banjara Hills neighbourhood.
It will offer a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and other products in a world-class ambience.
Ambani's wife Nita Ambani, is in charge of branding and has designed the stores.

India's Tata Steel Ltd maybe in the process of takeover of Anglo-Dutch steelmaker Corus Group
for 4.1 billion pound ($7.6 billion). This would the largest ever foreign takeover by an Indian company and
would follow Mittal Steel's $31 billion acquisition of rival Arcelor earlier this year.
The steel industry is under pressure to cut costs and secure precious supplies of raw materials as
net importer China now is switches to being a exporter of steel.

believes the future is in Wi-Max and 4G. Currently India uses 2.5G technologies and
BSNL is seeking to rollout 3G networks and has placed an order for equipment worth $5 billion.
Warrior is seens as the India IT industry’s poster girl and rated one of the four most influential women
executives by Fortune magazine. Motorola has the proprietary Canopy wireless broadband solution which it has
taken up in Rajasthan for a pilot project.

list of richest Indian. His net worth, based on his shareholdings, to more than Rs 70,000 crore.
While Azim Premji, Wipro boss, net worth of about Rs 64,700 crore.
Anil Ambani maintained the 3rd position with net worth of over Rs 61,000 crore.

Microsoft and Hughes plan to develop 5,000 broadband-enabled information and
communications technology kiosks across rural India. The kiosks are scheduled to be
deployed in 200 small towns and rural regions.

HP, Hewlett-Packard Co., will be building a 2nd computer manufacturing plant in
India to meet the growing demand for computers in India. The plant will be operational by
March 2007 and will be located in Pantnagar, which is about 125 miles northeast of New Delhi.
The new plant will have a capacity to assemble 300,000 units a month to
include computers, workstations, notebooks and servers.
The other plant is located in Bangalore.

Delhi government is considering declaring the outbreak as an epidemic
after the number of dengue cases rose from September last year to this year to 448.
The national capital has reported 121 fresh cases in the past week, and
has killed 11 people so far. Dengue virus is spread by the bite of female
aedes mosquito that breeds in clean stagnant water. The disease could
spread further in the next two months because the present weather helps in breeding of aedes mosquito.

Nintendo Wii, pronounced "We", console will be available November 19th in the
U.S. at the price of $249. It will include two controllers (the wireless Wii
remote and the wired Nunchuck), and the five-in-one Wii Sports title.

Coke, Pepsi banned again by Several Indian states after reports of
allegations that the beverages contained pesticide residues, which was
later dismissed by federal Health Ministry. Kerala went further by even
asking the two companies to shut plants in the state.

A Northwest Airlines plane from Amsterdam's Schiphol airport heading to Mumbai, India
turned back to Amsterdam after crew reported suspicious behavior by some passengers.
Police first questioned the passengers and thenarrested 12 of the 149 passengers on flight 42
to Mumbai.
