	Tsunami Forces Preity Zinta to Examine Priorities Date: 05/14/2006 Preity Zinta has been reexamining her lifestyle after she escaped the tsunami disaster in 2004. She was fast asleep in a beachside villa in Thailand when the killer waves struck in December 2004. She ran and survived but some of the friends she was with did not make it out. Preity Zinta was only in one film last year, but she again has picked up her pace and is currently shooting for three movies that will hit the screen over the next six months. She is also going to promote her next film Hindi movie Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (KANK) (Never Say Goodbye) at the Cannes film festival later this month.
	Parineeta pair of Saif Ali and Vidya Balan Together Again Date: 05/09/2006 Parineeta pair of Saif Ali and Vidya Balan will be together again in director Pradeep Sarkar next venture. Pradeep will direct yet untitle film Yash Raj Films with Saif Ali Khan , Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan in the lead.
	Dhoom 2 team in South Africa Date: 05/09/2006 Dhoom 2 crew and cast will be shotting part of the movie in South Africa. The Avlon Group of Cinemas is providing the facilities in South Africa and Qatar Airways will be sponsoring air travels from India to South Africa for the entire cast and production crew. The film includes breath-taking action sequences which include fast-paced action sequences, helicopter chases and more. The file stars Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan .
	Mallika Sherawat In Guru Date: 05/09/2006 Mallika Sherawat has agreed to shoot an item number for Mani's movie titled Guru . Mallika Sherawat has shot the item number in Turkey with Abhishek Bachchan . The movie is inspired from a corporate war between the two groups of Mumbai controlled by Dhirubhai Ambani of Reliance and Nusli Wadia of Bombay Dyeing. Abhishek Bachchan is stated to be playing the character of the Reliance's founder Late Dhirubhai Ambani. The movie also stars Aishwarya Rai opposite Abhishek Bachchan and Madhavan opposite Vidya Balan .

Kareena Kapoor will work for a film under the Karan Johar's banner. Kareena Kapoor and Karan Johar have decided to work together again after working out there personnel differences. The last time the two worked together was on Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum, and now will again be together for a untitle film being directed by Soham, and starring John Abraham .

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is busy currently shooting his next film, Saanvariya in Karjat and reports have it that he has not paid the workers, affiliated with the Film Studio Setting and Allied Mazdoor Union since April 22. The movie, Saanvariya , will also be the first movie for Rishi Kapoor�s son Ranbir and Anil Kapoor�s daughter, Sonam .

Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai as ambassadors for Kerala. Both Bollywood mega stars will soon be signed by Kerala Tourism Board as their brand ambassadors. There will be 2 ads in the campaign targetted to the international audience. The 1st will be staring Amitabh Bachchan and is called God's Own Country and will star Aishwarya Rai on Ayurveda tourism.

NC Karunya , Indian Idol 2 runner up, got his first professional singing assignment in Vidhu Vinod Chopra�s Munnabhai 2ND Innings . The song is called Aane Char Aane and will be picturized on Munnabhai himself, Sanjay Dutt. The comedy, starring Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, is slated for release on August 25, 2006.

Vishal Bharadwaj�s an adaptation of Shakespeare�s Othello has finally been renamed to Omkara . Other names that were in the running where Saathi Re and Issak. The name Omkara was voted on by more then 25 lakh people from all over the world. The movies stars Vidya Balan , Bipasha Basu , Kareena Kapoor , Naseeruddin Shah, Ajay Devgan , Vivek Oberoi , and Konkana Sen Sharma.
