has been signed by Kamal Hassan for his Tamil Film
Dasavatharam
to play one of the lead roles. She will be playing the role of a grey character
in the film, who masterminds conspiracies leading to conflicts.
The film will have Kamal Hassan playing 10 different roles. The budget of the film is around
30 crores and is scheduled for release in Hindi and Telugu.

lost to Russian fourth seed Elena Dementieva in the $1.3m
Acura Classic WTA Tour tennis event in San Diego, California but managed
to advances in doubles match with her partner Liezel Huber of South Africa by
beating Anna Chakvetadze of Russia and Jill Craybus of the USA 7-5 6-2.
But
Sania Mirza
and Liezel Huber then lost of German-American pair of Anna Lena Groenefeld
and Meghan Shaughnessey in the quarterfinals.
Mirza and Huber, who won the Bangalore Doubles earlier this year,
lost in straight sets of 6-2, 7-5.

, beat former world no. 11 Meghan Shaughnessy in the first round of Acura Classic at San Diego, California.
Sania Mirza
won the game in straight-set 6-3, 6-1 in just over an hour. The Hyderabadi will now face
Katarina Srebotnik of Slovakia. Sania and her South African partner Liezel Huber had
earlier moved into the second round with a 6-0, 6-4 win over Canadian-Slovak pair of
Maurin Drake and Tina Krizan they will now play Russia's Anna Chakvetadze and Jill Craybas of the US.
