It has been reported that Bollywood movie star Shilpa Shetty is dating Raj Kundra, London-based businessman. Raj is also the person behind the launch of Shilpa's perfume S2 and a yoga DVD. Only time will tell if this is ture and if Shilpa is ready for marriage.
Hrithik Roshan Hrithik Roshan To Perform Song In Krazzy 4

Hrithik Roshan will be seen in a item song in the forthcoming movie Krazy 4 (2008) . Currently Hrithik is recovering from a knee surgery. The appearence will mark his father's, Rakesh Roshan, first production without Hrithik as a hero in the film. The songs music is provided by Rajesh Roshan and will be shot in March 2008 if Hrithik is feeling upto it.

Kingfisher Airlines, CEO Vijay Mallaya and John Abraham launced the sixth edition Kingfisher swimsuit calendar 2008 at a ceremony in Taj Hotel Mumbai. This year the pictures were taken in such location like Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar, Bay of Bengal, Udaipur, Goa to mention a few. The photo were taken by India’s ace photographer Atul Kasbekar and include pictures of India's leading models like Shruti Agrawal, Preeti Desai, Monikangkana Dutta, Deepti Gujral, Sheetal Menon, Mesissa Mehra and Tamara Moss.

Gauri Khan , wife of the Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan will be seeing on the cover of India's next edition of Vogue magazine which will hit the news stands on Dec 20, 2007. The photo were taken at her home in Mumbai, named Mannat. Gauri was recently seen in a small apperance in her husband's movie Om Shanti Om (2007) .

Bollywood movie star Priyanka Chopra today launced Spice Telecom's new service, Spice Local Lingo, at an event held in Bangalore. The new service will allowsusers to send SMS in 12 Indian languages. The service offers the following languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marati, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. While in Mumbai, Spice Telecom (Punjab) launched "Spice TV", which will give Spice subscribers in Punjab an opportunity to watch live Cricket on their mobiles.

Sanjay Dutt Granted Bail

Sanjay Dutt has been granted bail by the Supreme Court and should be released from the Pune jail within the next couple of days. Sanjay was given a six year jail term after being convicted in connection with the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.

There is some news around the web that Google is preparing to launch a site called Knol. The new site would be a combination of Wikipedia and Squidoo and would allow users to post stuff to become a knowledgebase of everything. Google will probably intices users to post articles by giving them a share of the revenue that Google will generate from that page. With this people may question what Google is upto, until now Google was justing indexing page on the web, now it seems to be helping people create content on the web with tools like the Blogger and now Knol.

The big three online advertisers, Microsoft, Google, and Yahoo were fined for allowing online gambling businesses to advertise online gambling using the three companies respectively ads mediums. The U.S. Department of Justice announced that the fines added to the over $40 million with Microsoft is to pay the largest penalty totaling $21 million. While Yahoo will pay $7.5 million and Google is to pay $3 million.

Ask.com announced the availibility of AskEraser, a privacy control that erases information about users' search queries within a few hours. With AskEraser enabled for a given users, all Ask.com cookies including IP address, user ID and session ID cookies and complete text of search queries are erased across the Ask.com search areas but cannot delete it from from the servers of third-party companies. But the side effect of AskEraser being enabled is that some of the Ask.com personalization options will not function.

Today Google announced that is has optimized the Google Search, Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Reader for the iPhone which builds upon other Google products like Maps and YouTube that are already available. When a iPhone user visits the Google main site, the iPhone is automatically detected and the apps are made avaialble to the user via iPhone's Safari browser. In other news, Google introduced the addition of AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) To Gmail.

Yahoo's online photo sharing service Flickr, an online photo sharing website, today announced the introduction of new online digital imagee editing tools that can be used by members to edit photos. The tools suite will be provided by Picnik. Flickr was purchased by Yahoo back in 2005 at which time, Yahoo discontinued it's own Yahoo Photos service for Flickr.

Sania Mirza has been signed by Addidas as their first global brand ambassador. Sania joins a list of other well known brand ambassadors of Addidas to inlcude David Beckham (football, soccer), Zin dine Zidane, Sachin Tendulkar (cricket) and Ricky Ponting (cricket). Sania will next be playing mixed-team competition in The Hopman Cup and then onto the Hobart International, starting January 7, 2008 and then the Fed Cup in February 2008. Sania will be paired with Rohan Bopanna and will face Meghann Shaughnessy and Mardy Fish (United States), followed by a match against Alicia Molik and Peter Luczak (Australia) and then Lucie Safarova and Tomas Berdych (Czech Republic).

The 3rd test match between India and Pakistan ended up in a draw. Pakistan ended the final day with 167/7, when bad light ended the match early. Anil Kumble threatened the Pakistan with a burst of wickets. Kumble ended the day with five for 60 off 14 overs. Now India is all set for a tour to Australia for a four-test series starting on Dec. 26. 1st match on Dec. 26-30 (Melbourne), 2nd on Jan. 2-6 (Sydney), 3rd on Jan. 16-20 (Perth), and the 4th on Jan. 24-28 (Adelaide). The series will be followed by oneday triseries involving Australia, India and Sri Lanka.

Sania Mirza is currently shooting a commercial advertisement at the historic Mecca Masjid which has caused a row with the minorities welfare department. The shooting was done without the permission of the department and hence evoked protest from the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM).

Indian Cricket League (ICL) will begin it ingural match tomorrow Nov 30, 2007. The match will be between Chandigarh Lions vs Delhi Jets and will follow the 2020 cricket format. The ICL is a newly formed cricket league in India, and is being backed by Zee Telefilms, Kapil Dev, and other great cricket players. The ICL is made up of 6 teams being Mumbai Champs, Chennai Superstars, Chandigarh Lions, Hyderabad Heroes, Kolkata Tigers, and Delhi Jets. The league includes such welknown players like Michael Bevan, Inzamam ul Haq, Darryl Cullinan, Craig McMillan, Madan Lal, Sandip Patil, Brian Lara and many more.

The Indian and Pakistani cricket team arrived in Kolkata for their next test match. The test match will be played from November 30 to December 4 at the Eden Gardens. India has already won the first test match by six wicket which was played at Ferozshah Kotla ground in New Delhi.
