Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is setting new records, this time for the proposed pay check that she will take home for her role opposite Rajnikanth 's in Shankar's Robot (2008) . Aishwarya will be paid a whopping Rs 4 crores (Rs.40 million) following her Bollywood movie success hat trick with Guru (2007) , Dhoom 2 (2007) and Jodha Akbar (2008) . In comparision Rajnikanth will be paid Rs 15 crores. |  | Soha Ali Khan In Legal Trouble

Soha Ali Khan has found herself faced with legal trouble. The trouble started in regrads to her father, former cricketer Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, allegedly using a gun issued in her name to kill a black buck Jhajjar district. The gun licence was issued to Soha in November 1996, when she was only 18 years and 1 month old, and the minimum age limit for getting a gun license is 21 years. |

When director Harry Baweja releases is long awaited movie Love Story 2050 (2008) , it will mark the debut of his son Harman Baweja . Harman Baweja is going to play a role opposite former Miss World Priyanka Chopra in the film title Love Story 2050 (2008) . The movie will be the first Bollywood scifi movie and has been a budget of over of Rs 60 crores. The movie contains a lot of special effects and will be in line with many Hollywood movies. Jodha Akbar (2008) has had a great start for the movie as well as for Bollywood in 2008. The movie has grossed over Rs 120 crore worldwide since its release one month ago. Of that Rs 90 crores from within India and the remaining from the rest of the world. The movie stars the Dhoom 2 pair of Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the Oscar nominated director Ashutosh Gowariker . Ashutosh has previosly directed Lagaan and Swades. Even with the bans in several Indian states that was faced by the movie, the movie did very well in the opening weeks. The film was released on 1000 screens of which 400 were through digital cinemas within India. The movie was dubbed in Hindi, Telegu, and Tamil and released in 25 countries in North America, Europe, Asia and West Asia. |

Microsoft's Open XML document standard not approved by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). ISO member-countries had eceived request for recommendation from ECMA six months ago and ISO will take a final decision based on global response on March 29. Given that more than 95% of Office applications are Microsoft products, this will be a big blow to Microsoft. Now will have to see how this effects the rival ODF format has been developed by a consortium called the Organisation for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS) which has been supported by IBM, Red Hat, Sun Microsystems and others.

Katrina Kaif and Bangalore girl Deepika Padukone will be shooting for an ad to promote the Royal Challengers team of the Indian Premier League (IPL) . The team is owned by industrialist Vijay Mallya. The ad will also contain cricketer Rahul Dravid , Zahir Khan and Virat Kohli is will be directed by Sanjay Gupta. Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) has also planned a similar ad campaing for his Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team.

Sania Mirza advanced to the pre quarterfinal at the Pacific Life Open being played at Indian Wells, California. Sania beat Shahar Peer (Israel) 6-7 (7), 7-5, 6-3 in the third round match. The 21 year old Hyderabadi will now face Slovak Daniela Hantuchova. |
