Katrina Kaif has come a long way over the last couple of years. She has provided back to back movie hits and is looking for a great 2008 with the release of Singh Is Kinng (2008) on August 8, 2008 and then Yuvraaj (2008) on October 24, 2008. Katrina was recently in the news for a rift that has occured on her birthday party between her boyfriend Salman Khan and king of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan . She now has been signed by jewellery brand Nakshatra Diamonds to endorse the product which was previous being endorsed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan . |  | Shilpa Shetty Could Host Season 2 Of Big Boss

Shilpa Shetty the winner of the Big Brother UK, may be offered to host the next season of Bigg Boss 2 in India. Bigg Boss was last year hosted by Arshad Warsi. If Shilpa chooses to host the show, she could be paid more then Rs 8 Crores. Bigg Boss (India) will start after Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi, , hosted by Akshay Kumar , ends in August 2008. The new season of Bigg Boss will air on newly launched channel, Colors. |

TV Reality show, Star Voice of India, winner Ishmeet Singh passed away Tuesday apparently by drowning in a hotel swimming pool in the Maldives. He was in the Maldives to sing at a musical concert on Friday. Ishmeet had been in the shallow pool meant for children but later jumped into the deep end of the main swimming pool and had immediately run into difficulty.
The question in everyone's mind is that how come no one was to recuse him?

Yet another search engine has been launched to compete for your searches. Online ad revenues is huge with a big marketplace and hence everyone wants the piece of the pie. Now, a group of former Google employees have launched to compete against their previous employer. The new search engine called Cuil , which is pronounced 'cool', claims to provide a more comprehensive guide to the web. Cuil claims to have indexed more then 120 billion web pages with which they have to search against to provide better results in a new way. Now online time will tell if Cuil will overcome Google, or maybe can instead overcome Yahoo and MSN?.

India won the second match against Sri Lanka by 170 runs to level the three game series 1 to 1. The match was played at Galle International Cricket Ground. Virender Sehwag was named the man of the match after scoring an unbeaten 201 to lead India. Sri Lanka was given 2 full days to chase the score of 307 runs, but the Sri Lankans collapsed for 136 an hour before the close of day 4. Harbhajan Singh gave some twist and turns to the balls to pick up 10 wickets in the match. |

Sania Mirza is having some difficultly with coming back from her injugries. Sania has hard some tough losses in early rounds of big tournements. Today was no difference, the Indian ace, Sania, lost in three sets to Czech Iveta Benesova in the second round. Sania had won the first set 4-6 but could not finish the match and Iveta won the last two sets 6-3, 6-3. The Hyderabadi girl had already lost in her doubles match just in the first round. |

Michelle Sung Wie skipped playing in a major so she could play on the PGA Tour this week. Wie was listed in qualifying for the Women’s British Open at Sunningdale, buy choose not to participate. Wei is currently managed by her her parents. Just recently Michelle Wie was disqualified at the LPGA's State Farm Classic when she left the scoring area without signing her card. So people are now questing why Wei would choose to play at the PGA Tour over playing in the Women’s British Open. |
