Shilpa Shetty has received an invitation from king of pop Michael Jackson to attend his brothers Jermaine Jackson's birthday party. Shilpa and Jermaine Jackson had taken part in international reality show Big Brother, where Shilpa had ended up winning.

With only one film under her belt Sonam Kapoor is making her place in Bollywood. Sonam made her Indian film debut in 2007 in Saanvariya, Saawariya (2006) along with Ranbir Kapoor . She was nominated that year for the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award, but lost out to Deepika Padukone who also made her Bollywood debut that year. Sonam has now been singed by L’ Oreal to be the young face to endorses their brand. She will be the face of a younger generation while current brand ambassador Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be the face of L’Oreal for women in their 30’s. Sonam will also be seen in 2009 in movie Dilli 6 (2009) opposite Abhishek Bachchan .
|  | Ghajini To Release In 23 Countries On December 25

The much awaited Aamir Khan starring movie Ghajini (2008) is all set to release December 25 in 23 countries simultaneously. The movie is a ramake of a Tamil language film which had great Box office success. The Tamil version starred Asin Thottumkal for which she won Best Actress Award at the South India Filmfare Awards. Asin now will also been seen in the Bollywood version opposite Aamir Khan. Aamir has worked out with a trainer to get his body in shape and will showcase his six pack in the movie. The movie will simultaneously release in Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, Norway, Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa, Singapore, UAE, US and Canada.

The market started the day off in positive territory and was able to hold on in early afternoon and end up positive before the Christmas break.
Crude Oil closed at $35.35.

Dows 8,519.69 down 59.42 (0.69%), Nasdaq 1,532.35 down 31.97 (2.04%), SandP 500 871.63 down 16.25 (-1.83%).
The market started the day off in negative territory and by afternoon, it had gone further into negative territory and tried a late hour rally but could not recover the losses of the day and closed negative.
Crude Oil closed at $39.87.
