Recently there has been news that the newest Kapoor in the Indian cinema,
Ranbir Kapoor
has shown interest in directing a film under his grandfather’s R K Films banner.

are not the best of friends. During a recent interview with Kangana Ranaut,
she was asked if she missed out working with
Aamir Khan
, and to that she replied with sometimes like its destiny but at
least I wasn't sent to acting classes by Aamir. This in reference to recent news that
Aamir Khan
has asked Jiah to attend acting classes before her shooting for the film,
Ghajini (2008)
, began. Kangana Ranaut was the first choice for Aamir to play the
role opposite him in Ghajini, but Kangana leaked out the news before the
formal announcement was made, which annoyed Aamir and she was out of the
film and replaced with Jiah Khan. The film will also have
Asin Thottumkal
and Jiah, plays a medical student, playing opposite Aamir. Asin had
also acted in the same part in the original Tamil version of the movie.

TV Reality show, Star Voice of India, winner Ishmeet Singh passed away
Tuesday apparently by drowning in a hotel swimming pool in the Maldives.
He was in the Maldives to sing at a musical concert on Friday. Ishmeet had been
in the shallow pool meant for children but later jumped into the deep end of
the main swimming pool and had immediately run into difficulty. The question in everyone's mind is that how come no one was to recuse him?

Reliance Big TV launches Direct to Home (DTH) service which should provide
high picture quality. The service will be available in 6,500 towns and will
initially broadcast over 200 channels with digital quality picture and sound.
Now Reliance will provide competition to already existing service providers

After eight bombs exploded in quick succession in the city of

yesterday, today the city of

awoke up in early morning confronted with bomb blasts around the city.
At least four bombs exploded in the western Indian city of Ahmedabad killing
many people and injuring a lot more. The bomb blast were in crowded old city
dominated by its Muslim community. Two blast happended near Maninagar,
constituency of Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

the piece of the pie. Now, a group of former Google employees have
launched to compete against their previous employer. The new search engine called
Cuil
, which is pronounced 'cool', claims to provide a more comprehensive guide
to the web. Cuil claims to have indexed more then 120 billion web pages
with which they have to search against to provide better results in a new
way. Now online time will tell if Cuil will overcome Google, or maybe can
instead overcome Yahoo and MSN?.

has announced the availibility of a new multimedia notebook notebook.
The new Vaio FW notebook, is also the first 16.4 inch laptop to hit the market and
promises to enable consumers to view High Definition, Blu ray Disc, movies
in a manner they are meant to be seen. The notebooks LCD is constructed
with a 16:9 aspect ratio, which is standard used while shooting HD movies.
The notebook will be powered by new Intel Centrino 2 technology, with
more energy efficiency and performance, along with a HDMI output connector
to allow users to connect the laptop to the TV for viewing watch movies on
a television set. The packaged Vaio Media software is DLNA enabled and hence
allows users to wirelessly stream content stored on laptop throughout their home network.
Other features include multiple ports and jacks including Memory Stick media/SD card slot,
three USB ports, an i.Link Ieee-1394 port, microphone and headphone jack,

for a higher price of $52 billion after a month long standoff between the two.

An Abu Dhabi Investment Council, based in
Abu Dhabi
has bought the Chrysler Building, New York's
best known skyscrapers, for 800 million dollars. The 77 story Art Deco skyscraper
is located in Midtown Manhattan opposite Grand Central station. The The Chrysler Building was
designed by the architect William Van Alen and built between 1928 and 1930.
The building was declared a historic monument in 1976 and was built for
the Chrysler car company. The fund has over 800 billion dollars of assets
and has also recently made a 7.5 billion dollar investment in Citigroup.
Many Middle East nations have great access to capital from their oil profit
and hence are looking for real estate assets overseas. Just last month,
General Motors building located on Fifth Avenue was bought by Investors

flared at the Olympic Games. Sania had surgery on the right wrist back in

both failed to qualify for the main draw of men's and women's events.

is having some difficultly with coming back from her injugries. Sania has
hard some tough losses in early rounds of big tournaments. Today was no difference,
the Indian ace, Sania, lost in three sets to Czech Iveta Benesova in the second round.
Sania had won the first set 4-6 but could not finish the match and Iveta won the
